Nirvana review
It should be stated first that I have a bit of bias—I am a big fan of Jin, the creator of Kagerou Project and co-creator of Nirvana. Despite this, I did not go into this story expecting much. And that's exactly what I got—not much.
In the afterward of volume 1, Sayuki says that they set out to make a typical shounen but with one catch—the main character is a girl. So this story is basically an isekai story, except without the harem and less RPG elements. Of course, as with most isekai stories, we have the main character with unique and special powers (bonus isekai trope points for being the reincarnation of a literal goddess). Basically, this story is a rehash of many before but with less fanservice. I give this a 6 only due to the art and the somewhat unique setting (also, one plus is that Jin made a song by the same title, and it was sung by Lia in both English and Japanese). The character designs are pretty at least. Subtracted slightly for the random character's death at the beginning, as if I was supposed to care about them in only a chapter. Read if you are obsessed with isekai. I might continue if Yachiyo ends up having more to her than "caring about others."

Tensei Shoujo no Rirekisho review
At the time I am writing this review, this novel has only 49 members on MAL. Somehow, this isn't a very popular series here, so if people are really undecided on whether to invest some time into reading this manga, let me say right now: give it a try. I hope to convince you why through this review.
To begin with this novel beats all the cliches and tropes associated with rebirth and Isekai novels out of the water. It takes a much more down-to-earth look at what life as a reincarnated person in another world would be like. Moreover, our protagonist is not reborn to a noble family, or born with OP powers, or even born with some quest to kill a demon lord. Rather, the villain in this novel is much more subtle. Yes, if I had to name a villain here, it would be society itself, or the people in history who allowed such a society to come into existence. It takes a look at inequality, aristocracy or landed gentry and discrimination based upon magical power in such a world quite realistically. Imagine an alternate world where the magic is beginning to dry up and the people, long accustomed to using magic to solve all their problems, are now facing an insurmountable wall. The protagonist, being a reincarnated individual with knowledge of science can possibly be a boon in this world. The story thus revolves around her and her interactions with people around her as she introduces new solutions to a inert and sluggish place. The person who carries this story through is definitely the MC, Ryou. So far, we do not receive POVs from other characters. The MCs primary struggle in this alternate world is finding her place in a loving family. The story shows how poverty and ambition drives people to use her to fulfil their wishes. Even people who we think are very close to her might suddenly show themselves to have thought of her as an object to be monopolized, rather than a person. This repeated rejection has understandably given the MC feelings of inferiority and jealousy, but as of now, she might have found at least 3 people who care about her deeply, which is comforting. I believe this novel makes us side with the MC very effectively by showing us a world very divorced from our modern ideals of universal education, equality and right to private ownership and entrepreneurship. We look at this sluggish world and wish the MC could be a positive force here and make a living and positive contribution in this world. The plot is not particularly adventurous or filled with slaves and elves and beastmen falling in love. TO begin with, the protagonist is a girl. Ad right from the start, she has to come to terms with some of the realities of being born so in a poor family. It is quite serious and the themes get quite dark. However, Ryou's positive attitude in all of that is heartwarming and really helps drive the story along. I am very happy to say that as of right now, I cannot possibly predict where this story will go or how it will end. So it is a novel experience for me. And just for that alone, I would say it is worth reading. The translator's have put effort into it and it reads pretty well in English. So if you have some spare time, definitely look into this. Overall: 9/10

Otogi no Machi no Rena review
From the author of Umisho and Sankarea, which, like me, is probably why you are here. Otogi no Machi is an incredibly raunchy manga about a girl possessed by spirits that make her extremely horny.
On the good side: The artwork is pretty good: actually, it looks exactly like Umisho, for better or worse. The main character (Rena) is fun, as is the main guy (Otogi), and some of their antics are pretty sexy and fun, especially when it's just the two of them. On the bad side: The manga is practically a celebration of groping and sexual assault, and at least two instances later on basically qualify as rape. And because that's the source of most of the humor, it means that most of the jokes fall flat. The romance is never satisfactorily resolved. The plot makes very little sense. As a test of whether you will like this manga: Reasonably often Rena finds herself getting horny. The only person around is a guy she either doesn't know or like (and also she's starting to like Otogi, though it takes her almost the whole manga to admit that to herself). But she can't help herself, so she asks that person to help her relieve her desires. Then she pushes him away and immediately regrets her actions. That situation happens often. If that doesn't bother you, then enjoy; Otogi no Machi will be a fun romp. If that sounds disgusting, then don't bother reading Otogi no Machi at all.

Fukushuu Kyoushitsu review
Story: 7/10
Fukushuu Kyoushitsu has an unoriginal premise but with an interesting execution, the methodical way the protagonist initiated her quest for revenge makes for a good story and a few chapters are fun to read because of it. Flashbacks are used to provide emotion or context to scenes that would otherwise feel out of place which is good, but ultimately the series suffers from how convoluted keeping track of the history each of the characters has with each other becomes. Art: 8/10 The tone for the series is set in the art, everywhere seems to be a little morose or disgusting and can make you feel unsettled during particularly emotional scenes. The character's facial expressions stand out and really emphasize moments in the story where you're meant to understand how they're feeling, especially during the more dark scenes. Characters: 5/10 As mentioned in the story sections, it becomes tedious to try and keep track of who's affiliated with who and part of that is because some of the main characters are so forgettable. A lot of the male characters also suffer from over the top shounen cliches that feel out of place in the story. Enjoyment: 6/10 It's really fun to read but by the end of it I felt like I had been cheated. Despite so much happening only a handful of chapters felt relevant to telling the main story while the rest may as well have not even happened. Overall: 7/10 I think Fukushuu Kyoushitsu is definitely worth reading. It's entertaining and intriguing enough to occupy your time, especially if you like stories with dark and depressing themes.

Subete no Jidai wo Tsuujite no Satsujinjutsu review
A boring collection of horror stories that makes you think "when will this end" even if it only has 11 chapters. That's how boring it is.
STORY: Pretty unique stories, extremely bizarre and graphic. With all of these being oneshots, don't expect anything deep or amazing. The plots are just ridiculous and gruesome for the sake of it, which can have it's own appeal, but falls flat when you realize the stories aren't important at all, they're just an excuse to make gory art. Maybe this would have worked better as a collection of art pieces and nothing else. ART: With how mediocre this manga is, the art is it's only redeeming quality. Full of gore to the very end, it would only get a reaction from the reader if it was their first time seeing blood and horrible deaths. If not, then it's just a boring collection of art pieces where people suffer and die in strange ways. CHARACTERS: Nothing remarkable. ENJOYMENT: Bored me to death, the only interesting plot was chapter 1 and even then, it was just a little bit less boring that the rest of the manga. The art didn't make me feel uncomfortable or terrified, it just exists there and that's it. OVERALL: Just don't read this. even if it's only 11 chapters, just don't. Gore for the sake of gore is just edgy. It isn't even "so bad it's good", it's just bad. Maybe read it if you're a huge fan of gore.

Hot Gimmick review
At the time while I was reading this manga, I thought the story was pretty average in the beginning. It was just like any other story where a love triangle forms, and a couple forms while one guy is left out. And of course, this guy is the despicable one that the main heroine has no intention of falling in love with. But then twists occur and mysteries begin to develop. By the end of the story, it's a surprising ending, but when you think about it, the story couldn't have ended any other way.
Overall, I would read this manga, but I found the heroine of the story extremely annoying. Obviously, she lets men take over her life too much, and doesn't understand the severity of her actions. Also, in the beginning it may seem like the story is progressing slowly and is way too happy - trust me, something bad will happen soon enough. Also, I felt like one of the main male heroes was way too focused on sex. He confused sex with being the most important thing in a relationship, and this sends a wrong message out to the audience. I didn't like how the heroine was letting herself be pushed around by the male hero either.

Pai Long review
story - mc is a cold contract killer who have been entrusted with the task of protecting a young girl.
art is average. characters - our mc is not dense and not perverted either. he is a badass contract killer for gods sake.female mc is a happy and caring girl. enjoyment- i enjoyed every moment of this short manga. it was soothing.ending was good. extra text to increase length- A unique take on the anit-hero theme, "White Dragon"'s main character is Tatsuto Shriakawa: a pragmatic, cold, nearly-emotionless, independent witness protection agent-thing. Anyway, his life is pretty much ok for him until one day a young girl Ayaka Nozawa knocks on his door asking for help. One thing leads to another and soon the two of them are fighting off criminals ad protecting the innocent, to an extent. Well worth a look at.

Saigo no Seifuku review
The Last Uniform / Saigo no Seifuku is a long story composed by many short stories, each of them brings different feelings: cheerful, heart-warming, sad, or depressing. Each stories involved different characters, how they fall in love, how they feel, and that's why this series so enjoyable.
Many people complain about the author's artwork, but I found the artstyle fit the story perfectly, it might not looks so exquisite at the first glance, but it do has some charm in it, gives me a feeling mixed with heart-warming and nostalgia. The Last Uniform is really a fantastic work, I can't believe that I haven't read it until this year, which makes me regretting.

Platinum End review
‘Platinum End’ is the third big collective creation of the Authors of ‘Death Note’, Tsugumi Ohba & Takeshi Obata. And just after you read this sentence your expectations rise higher. To not compare this manga to their world-known work is almost impossible, especially because this title has a lot of similarities to ‘Death Note’, so I will compare to it, but I will try to remain objective as much as possible. Before that I want to mention at the time I write this, I am currently re-reading ‘Death Note’ and reading for the first time their second big hit ‘Bakuman’. So my experience with their
past works are relatively fresh.
Short version - Overall (7/10): Story writer Tsugumi Ohba dived in really dark and complex themes again. This makes on the one hand so amazing, but on the other so bad for “normies”. ‘Death Note’s theme (killing/crime) is way easier to understand than ‘Platinum End’s topic (God, death and more) for an average person. So a lot of people will think chapter long discussions about God and the World are boring, and that’s totally okay. This is just not for you. However, the first half is more action packed and less confusing. So if you liked ‘Death Note’ give it a try and if you are hooked, nice, if not, drop it. Because it will get way more complex nearing the end. And if you are one of the few who don’t know the mangakas first big work, start with that, before you try this. Long version - Story (8/10): The story is definitely the mothership for this work. If it’s not for you, you shouldn’t read it. But what is the main story? Very simply said: God is dying, so a new one has to be selected. For this task a handful of angels choose a human, give them two god-like powers, and start a battle royale. Sounds simple and very battle shounen like, but don’t be fooled! This topic goes way beyond and turns to a deep dark philosophic theme, especially in the second half. “Second half?!” think some triggered ‘Death Note’ readers. Yes, some of you may assume, that just like the second half of their first work, here it also turns out to be way less attractive than the first. As I mentioned, I’m currently re-reading it, and yes, the second half has way more plot holes, illogical actions and forced twists. However, while some rumors say, the second half of ‘Death Note’ wasn’t really planned, I think in this work it definitely was. But let’s go deeper! The first chapters start with portraying our protagonist’s circumstances of dead parents, shitty step-family and no will to live… So, yeah, you immediately know, this will be dark and it gets darker and darker! We get themes like “Is suicide okay, if you don’t have a will to live?”, “Is the desire for might rightful?” or “Does God exist? And if it does, what is its meaning?” etc. I would say, this work is not for super optimistic happy people at all. To really understand such topics you have to or had to be a dark minded person or at least an open-minded (hobby) philosopher. But let’s go deeper again! Tsugumi Ohba gives us not just the questions, but also tries to answer them. While many other titles that I know fear to influence their readers with their viewpoint and skip or solve them mysteriously, Ohba tries to tell us his/her view. (Note: here I can see the developing from ‘Death Note’ clearly) However, such things you can’t just smash in front of the people. So at first, you start way simpler. Introducing the powers, the characters, their motives and the conflicts between them. Then you experience the first “battles” (which may not be that twisted and logical than in ‘Death Note’) and you may think “Hey, it’s like a darker almost-battle shounen! Nice!”. But soon after, you learn you were completely wrong. But we need to go deeper! While the first half nears to end, and it seems like a heroic live-or-die battle between our protagonists and our main villain, the author slowly turns everything bit to bit darker, until the first half ends with an unexpected twist and introduces the second true “evil”. For this enemy half-assed answers are not enough and this semi-darkness too. So we smash all the lightbulbs, jump right into the darkness and listen to the deepest monologues of Tsugumi Ohba packed in this manga. All the questions get answered, but it also needs a lot of time and you may feel it stretched and very confusing… But let’s go back to the surface and take a big breath! I tried to imitate the author’s step-by-step diving, and of course I’m not a successful story writer, so to 90% I failed, however I hope you understand what awaits you. Such complex themes you can’t just answer with “yes” or “no” nor with defeating the main evil with the fist of friendship. You need 3-5 chapters of monologues and dialogues, but that’s how you talk about such things with friends and family too. You try to tell your side, while defending it, and the same goes to your partner. Of course something like that doesn’t seem interesting for an outstander, so you have to go in and be a part of it, or just ignore it. On the other hand, a writer has to be as clear and understandable as possible and at the same time remain interesting. You can’t assume that everyone is so deep in this meta/philosophy or intellectual to understand such complex worldviewing. For example, I needed to read some parts twice or three times to understand what the hell he was trying to tell me. So yeah, it’s not easy at all and very confusing, for a lot of people stretched at the end, but also really interesting, dark and philosophic. - Art (9/10): Takeshi Obata is definitely one of the best manga artists I know and maybe in the world too. Drawing such realistic scenarios, dark fearsome shinigamis and then impossible funny sketches like in ‘Bakuman’, where he also shows a big diversity, is really amazing. Such an artist can perfectly catch this dark deep feeling of the story and take it on the paper. The designs of the angels are one-to-one unique, some seem lovely and kind, some are handsome and some are really horrific. This goes also for humans, however some characters may be a bit too similar to other ones of ‘Death Note’, but that’s not a big problem. You will never feel “emptiness” like a lot of other manga (especially in most of the weekly publications), because the backgrounds are alway packed and detailed. The only little stain which gives a 9 and not a perfect 10 is that a lot of monologues and dialogues happen in this story. Indicates often the hiatus of the dynamic of Obata’s extraordinary art. - Characters (4/10): Now we have arrived at the main weak points of this work, the characters. Yes, the story is extremely deep, but not its characters. Our protagonist is nihil and understandable due to the circumstances, which makes him individual yet boring. Sometimes he shows emotions, but these are shown very poorly. Our support characters are either “I do everything for our protagonist” or “I do everything against our enemy” and are very easy to manipulate or just too naive. Our 2 main villains are extraordinary, but! The first one desires a new world according to his view where he can stand on the top. Sounds familiar? Hmm, strange… The second is a complex genius, way too complex to understand him 100%. He is perfect in everything (sport, science, literature, just everything!), but still lacks sympathy and empathy. Sounds familiar? Hmm strange... I really don’t want to say it, but these 2 extraordinary characters are nothing more than Kira and L from ‘Death Note’ in a different situation and designs, or at least for me they seemed like copies of them. So altogether, compared to their past works, these characters are really dry and uncreative. If I hadn’t read ‘Death Note’ I would maybe give extra points for the villains. - Enjoyment (6/10): It is hard to “enjoy” such a dark deep story, full of monologues and dialogues. The extremely weak characters didn’t help either. What you surely can enjoy are the amazing artwork and the discussions about these topics with your friends or family (or some strangers from the internet). For me I would say I enjoyed it (7 or 8 out of 10), but I’m also a dark person and love to read manga, so I’m not annoyed if I have to read some parts more than once. However, thinking of an ordinary average person, it is too much and/or too heavy to call it “enjoyable” (so giving a 5-6). - Comparisons and recommendations: For such a manga is hard to compare or to recommend with similar stuff. I could name ‘Gantz’, ‘The Promised Neverland’, ‘Tokyo Ghoul’, just to name some of the most famous ones, but none of them are really similar to this, or at least I don’t know any (so recommend me one). However, one work is of course similar and that is ‘Death Note’. But I don’t believe that there exists someone who read this manga, but not the other one…
