Ziga review
Ziga is an axed Shonen Jump series that has not been fully translated in English so I cannot fully comment on the story as a whole, With that out of the way let's begin!
Story: 5/10 Ziga for a manga in Shonen Jump has a very interesting premise which I think holds a lot of promise, Kaiju like Godzilla are an interesting concept that I think meshes with shounen manga very well, unfortunately it didn't last long and I haven't read much so I can only assume that it didn't execute this very well. What I can say for sure is the narrative at the very beginning was very strong, at a very quick pace we learn about the monster Ziga, an organization who aim to destroy Ziga as well as the main characters motivations which are very understandable even if they aren't the most heroic. I think what I liked the most about Ziga was how unorthodox it was for a shounen manga, it being very dark, not shying away from death and realistically portraying how much damage such a creature could do. Art: 8/10 Ziga's art only helps it tell it's graphic and darker story, Ziga's design is perfect with it being a large black hulking monster with a lot of presence whenever it's in panel, the author definitely succeeded in making an intimidating creature. The characters expressions are harrowing which is coupled with a good use of black to make the series almost look like a horror. The paneling is great even if it's a bit simple as it's easy to read and knows when to put emphasis on important scenes and Ziga, there is at times a lot of dialogue but to contrast this there are some pages with no text whatsoever, relying solely on the art to tell it's story, when this is pulled off well it feels immersive and very rewarding to read which is no exception as I found myself very engaged by the end of chapter 1. The character designs also look really cool, MC looks standard enough but you can tell there's something off about him like he's darker than other shounen MC's. He also contrasts with what I assume is the villain being a girl who is pure white but unfortunately she only appears shortly in one chapter. Character: 5/10 With only 3 chapters I was quite surprised with how well the characterization was, while more time could have been devoted to fleshing out the main characters motivations it's understandable with how fast certain events occur so that the story can properly begin. The events in question I won't divulge but they greatly influence the main character into someone who doesn't exactly fit your standard interpretation of a hero. His anger and hatred I could parallel to someone like Gutts from berserk, it's understandable how he acts but he's far from acting heroically. The other characters from what i've see belong mainly to a military organization all of which seemed interesting enough that if they did get future development i'd be confident to say they were good characters. Conclusion: Another manga I really wished I got to see more of, but i'm content with what I've seen as I can look at the first 3 chapters of Ziga as a short story and in my opinion it works well like that. Usually I wouldn't recommend people read these axed Jump titles, but this time I think people should read the first 3 chapters. It's not a huge time investment and if you like darker stories or Godzilla it's definitely worth your time. To quickly some up my thoughts, it was a very refreshing darker blend of shounen manga. Why it Failed: I think a big reason why Ziga might not have succeeded is it's darker themes, this immediately would alienate a lot of people from reading it, younger children might not like it and older people might think it's pandering with how dark it is. Though it's something undefinable I personally think it lacks the spirit to to succeed as a shounen manga, without something to inspire and encourage readers a lot of people may dislike it as I think as one of the biggest reasons I think shounen manga is so widely liked is how it can make people feel motivated and almost like they can be heroes too. FINAL SCORE: 7/10 - Good

Sweet Poolside review
Story : 4/10
Well, there really isn't any story in here. A guy who has never had a single hair on his body shaves for a very hairy girl. That's it. Art: 8/10 I may be biased because this mangaka is one of my favorite ones out there, but I really love his art. It's very smooth and clean and so well done. The body proportions are realistic and the facial expressions are on point. Needless to say, I love it. Character: 5/10 The manga is just 8 chapters long so there really isn't any development at all and we don't get to know the characters that well. Also, as known from the mangaka, the characters have ... weird tendencies or are just not normal. You will understand what I mean if you check out some of his other works (Aku no Hana, Marie..). Enjoyment: 6/10 I read this during my lunch break to pass time, so I can't really say that I enjoyed it to the point where it made me skip a few spoons of my food to see what's going to happen. Overall: 5.75 = 5 It's a very fast read (15 minutes or less) and it leaves you like (Um.. what did I actually read? no.. WHY did I read this?). Enjoy reading about a guy shaving for a girl. P.-s; I've made a promise to myself to read all of his works so this was the beginning of executing that.

HATSUKOI MONSTER review
Okay, I'm sorry, but as far as I read manga and watch anime I find this manga as poor. But congratulations I was intrigued about what is the story all about so I give a try to read it. The story is really unique maybe that what it makes interesting for others. It is one of those manga that are trying hard to become unique but failed. The idea is good, but the story doesn't make sense. The good side of this manga is the art the design of the characters are artistic. But I think the handsome guy with a jumping rope just to
make it look younger is hilarious. In the end, I drop the manga how lucky for this manga to have an anime. Seriously, there are many manga that deserves to have an anime. I feel sad for that.

AKANE-CHAN OVERDRIVE review
A must read for gender-bender fans, and probably amusing for people who are just into high school comedy. It's not a particularly memorable story. There are no brilliant, laugh-out-loud funny situations as there are in such stories as Power! (Girl Got Game) or Pretty Face. The character development especially is pretty weak. Yes, Akane is a quite cute girl, but various males' obsession with her is a bit overdone. The end was also lacking; the mangaka apparently preferred leaving any kind of real resolution up to readers' imagination. Considering how funny gender-benders are, the mangaka didn't do much with
the material, but it's still an entertaining, worthwhile read.

Kiiroi Isu review
I was excited to find another one shot similar to others I've read recently. After reading 'I Am A Piano' and a few more, I had high expectations for this, however I was let down. I didn't find this manga that enjoyable. In fact it was quite random and in my opinion a little creepy, but still quite adorable.
6 pages. Only 6 pages that will barely take you 2 minutes to read. Even though I thought it was creepy and didn't like it that much, the story was unique. However you might disagree with me so read it because I acutally recomemd it.

YOKI, KOTO, KIKU review
Ok so. There is only one valume of this manga. I picked it up for 5$. I thought it was a steal. Now that I read it it was around the price is should be.
Sometimes they had a refrince that was funny but it was just confusing and stupid most of the time. Maybe this just isn't my kind of humor, or I am missing something, and if I'm missing something I would like to know. In the end the entire manga just made me tilt my head in confusion. There is not much else to say about it. Because not much happens.

TSUYOGARI review
The story is as the review said. Studentxteacher. The key thing is the teacher used to date the student's older sister 9 years ago. There was a break up and they were apart for 9 years. During that time, rather than her love faiding for the teacher, the student remains deeply in love with him. So when he becomes her teacher she still loves him.
Another thing to note is that it seems the teacher had a thing for the student even as a child, because he specifically remembers her and seems to alude to some sort of an attraction. There happens to be an 11 year gap between them (I believe). The story is average at best. It's not taboo or risque in the salacious sense, however the concept of a grown man having an attraction to a child and then years later maintaining that attraction when he met her while he was dating her older sister is extremely taboo. The rest of it is an average love story with good artwork. It was a nice one shot.

Break Hands: Hoshi wo Tsugu Mono review
I would recommend this manga to almost anyone, however, it was not the best thing I've ever read. The ending was unsatisfying, but other than that, GREAT!
